Mean (Average) Gender Pay Gap:

When comparing mean (average) hourly pay, women’s mean hourly pay is 6% lower than men’s.

Median Gender Pay Gap:

The median gender pay gap splits the top 50% against the bottom 50% of employees pay and is the mid-point of all employees’ hourly pay. When comparing median hourly pay, women earn 96p for every £1 that men earn. Their median hourly pay is 4% lower than men’s.

The percentage of women in each pay quarter:

We have ranked all employees pay from lowest to highest and then divided it into four equal groups. The Lower Quartile are the lowest paid and Upper Quartile being the highest paid employees.
