On-Ground Hoarding

On-ground hoarding is a cost-effective solution to protect boundaries without the need for any potentially expensive or time-consuming groundwork.

Simple, effective and quick to install, shop the range below. Alternatively, if you have any questions about using Go Hoard on-ground hoarding from Blok N Mesh, get in touch.

On-ground hoarding from Go Hoard

Rather than being fixed directly into the ground, on-ground hoarding sits on the surface and is secured into position using heavy-duty concrete blocks.

By removing the need to fix posts into the ground, not only can on-ground hoarding help you to work around awkward site restrictions, but it can also save valuable time otherwise spent positioning, levelling and fixing hoardings into position.

And it goes without saying that if installation is simpler, so too is the removal process! As no ground is broken, no further expense or manpower needs to be spent on returning the ground to its original condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between on-ground and in-ground hoarding?

Essentially, the only real difference between the two options is how they are secured into position.

On-ground hoarding is fixed into place using 750kg SafeBlok™ concrete kentledge ballast blocks, which means the surface of the ground doesn’t need to be disrupted.

In-ground hoarding uses double welded scaffold tubes, which are secured directly into the ground below.

For help deciding on the right hoarding system for your needs, please don’t hesitate to talk with the team. We’re always on hand and happy to answer any questions.

What are the benefits of on-ground hoarding?

Whether you’re restricted by time, regulations or ground conditions, on-ground hoarding offers many benefits.

Fast to assemble and dismantle – causing no disruption or damage to the ground surface – on-ground temporary hoarding is ideal for sites where a strong, secure boundary fencing is needed quickly and with minimal disruption.

This simple and effective solution is available to rent or buy from Go Hoard. To find out more, or to talk in more detail about the advantages of on-ground hoarding, talk to the team.

You can call us today on 01226 654 040 or fill in our contact form and one of our helpful experts will be in touch soon.

Can I customise on-ground hoarding?

As with the majority of our Go Hoard products, there is flexibility for customisation.

On-ground hoarding is supplied in white as standard, but there are numerous options available. For a small additional fee, our hoarding can be made bespoke to requests in any BS / RAL colour of choice.

So whether it’s a muted green to minimise the visual impact in a rural setting, or company colours that you’re after, talk to the team and we’ll do what we can to accommodate your requests.

How secure is on-ground hoarding?

If you’re concerned on-ground hoarding won’t offer the same level of security as a system that’s dug into the ground – don’t be.

Fixed into position using 750kg SafeBlok™ concrete kentledge ballast blocks, this fencing is going nowhere!

Stable, secure and quick and easy to position and assemble – and dismantle – it makes no sacrifice to security or stability, with excellent wind resistance.
