Rather than being fixed directly into the ground, on-ground hoarding sits on the surface and is secured into position using heavy-duty concrete blocks.

By removing the need to fix posts into the ground, not only can on-ground hoarding help you to work around awkward site restrictions, but it can also save valuable time otherwise spent positioning, levelling and fixing hoardings into position.

And it goes without saying that if installation is simpler, so too is the removal process! As no ground is broken, no further expense or manpower needs to be spent on returning the ground to its original condition.

What’s the difference between on-ground and in-ground hoarding?

Essentially, the only real difference between the two options is how they are secured into position.

On-ground hoarding is fixed into place using 750kg SafeBlok™ concrete kentledge ballast blocks, which means the surface of the ground doesn’t need to be disrupted.

In-ground hoarding uses double welded scaffold tubes, which are secured directly into the ground below.

Can I customise on-ground hoarding?

As with the majority of our Go Hoard™ products, there is flexibility for customisation.

On-ground hoarding is supplied in white as standard, but there are numerous options available. For a small additional fee, our hoarding can be made bespoke to requests in any BS / RAL colour of choice.
